Mary May is doing a weekend course April 13th & 14th on carving the acanthus leaf at the Connecticut Valley school of woodworking.  I am planning to take it and will drive, it is just an hour from my house.  It is described as for both beginners and advanced carvers.  I have taken classes with Mary twice before and she is a great teacher.  Interested in car pooling?
