Meetings

General meetings of the guild are held on the second Saturday of each month from September through June. Meetings typically commence at 9:00 with an informal get-together. At about 9:30 the business meeting begins and is followed by a presentation for the month ending around noon. Typically, noted guest speakers are scheduled to present and demonstrate their specialty or a specific woodworking process.  Several times during season field trips are scheduled.  In the past recent years we have had guided trips to the Museum of Fine Arts Conservation Laboratory, North Bennet Street School Furniture and Music Departments, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Old Schwamb Mill in Arlington, Yale University Furniture Collection, Old Sturbridge Village, and others.  The schedule of past and future meeting topics can be found on the HOME page EMGW Upcoming Events.
