I will be conducting a Kayak building workshop this spring at my house in Milford.
I have negotiated with Chesapeake Light Craft to use existing plans for a royalty fee of $20 each. 17 foot Patuxent single seat kayak.
I will source wood, resin, fiberglass, consumables [brushes etc. and PPE] in bulk.
Workshop projected to last 4 to 6 weeks one or two sessions a week…to be determined by members.
Cost $620 per boat.
