In response to my outreach to local shop teachers, our old friend Paul Shultz responded:

Something I could use some help with is some experience with carving. I've got a bunch of students in my top level woodworking this year who will need to do a carving project. At a minimum, I'd like to pick someone's brain and resources, but maybe a longer bit of time or mentoring while that's going on. I discussed this with Will Neptune years ago but this might be a good spot for the guild.
