All Massachusetts vocational (Chapter 74) schools are required to have Advisory Committees "to advise the school committee, based on adequate and timely information, as to the planning, operation, and evaluation of vocational technical instruction provided by programs under its control."
Most schools have some kind of woodworking program (carpentry, construction, cabinetry) and each school appoints committees to oversee these individual programs. They look for people with active or recent experience in the related trade, and would be happy to hear from you.
If there is a high school in your area with State-approved programs, reach out to the Principal or Superintendent. For a list of schools, see https://www.mass.gov/doc/chapter-74-list-from-tq-database/download
