As enjoyable as Andrew Davis’s article “Asymptote” was to read, setting the value at our time at zero is a dangerous precedent for members of a group such as ours.  

Imagine the consequences if a spouse or partner were to see Andrew’s calculations.  We could not justify any tool purchase larger than a screwdriver unless we were building a house or making literally dozens of a thing.

Luckily for me if my wife were surfing the web emgw.org would be about 800,000th on her list of websites to visit.  But nevertheless…
