My daughter is new to Massachusetts, Kingston area, and she is in need of a piece of furniture. In the past I have used hobbiest/ small businesses to help with customer projects. I was wondering if you might have someone in the Kingston/Plymouth area that would be interested in giving us a bid.
Project: Desk/table. No drawers required but single drawer wouldn’t be rejected. Round/turned legs possibly some design to the legs. Thickness of legs optional. We are open to ideas. This would be a daily workstation yet the dual purpose table option for holiday gatherings. Rectangular in shape. The table top needs to be smooth.
Sizing: smallest possibility 31 1/2x 63”
largest. 39” x74”. (This maybe too large)
At one point she was thinking period piece (or look) but then she is suggested a grey wash. She does NOT want a high gloss of any type. She is not into yellow toned wood. Needs to be sturdy and child safe.
Keep it simple yet a touch of personality maybe in the legs. The final issue is time frame, she would prefer to get it as soon as possible but doesn’t want to wait 6 months.
This workstation is used daily. Very little paper, computer screen and keyboard. Smooth table top for mouse/ occasional writing.
