    Hello,

I'm new to EMGW and new to woodworking.   I'd like to thank Rob Carver and Ken Zoller for a nice welcome call and encouragement.

First project (Moravian workbench to Will Myers plans) attached.   Please excuse the messy workshop.  Seems the broom is a hard tool to master.

Look forward to meeting this group at various gatherings.

    what mess?   :)

Nice job on the bench.   we have a good group of people here, look forward to meeting you.

Now for the inevitable arguments   er discussion about different approaches to shop organization/infrastructure.   while I am the king of clutter, it totally kills your momentum.

Tonight's session is beginning to install Andrew Kline's "Turbo Vise".   14".  Jaws are Sapele.

I've not strung together 3 steps on this project without 2 mistakes.   The trend continues.

Welcome to the guild, Tom.  I love that design for a bench.  Kudos to you for taking that on as a first project.  Workbenches are not beginner pieces!

    Welcome Tom!

Workbench looks great. Let us know your thoughts on the vice after you've had a chance to use it. I've seen in on uTube, and it looks impressive.
