Robland 31 combo machine

    Hello All,

    The centerpiece in my new shop in Framingham is a 1 ton Robland X31 combo machine - planer, jointer, table saw, horizontal mortiser & spindle molder all in one. I'd really like to talk to anyone with experience re this machine.

    Sounds like a Shopsmith on steroids, an ideal piece of equipment if all your work is custom and you don’t have any production work that requires repetitive steps.

    I have the saw shaper version of that. Machine. Not sure u can be much help but I'd be happy to try.

    you nailed it - that aspect of it is one of the 'puzzlements' - could be that europeans have an entirely different approach to project managememt
