In this session Med will try to shed some light on the complex world of the metallurgy surrounding the tools you use everyday. We will look at different types of tool steel, the heat treating process and the performance of the finished tools. Med will also talk about what is needed to make tools yourself. At the end of the talk hopefully you will have a better understanding of why your favorite tool cuts so well.
