The Furniture Interest Group is hosting a tour of the furniture collection warehouse of Historic New England (thanks, Tim Holliner). Senior Curator of Collections, Nancy Carlisle, will give the tour. Many of you will remember Ms. Carlisle who has given talks on New England furniture history to the Guild in prior years. We will also get a look at HNE's conservation lab and will meet Liz Peirce, Mellon Conservation Fellow, who will discuss some furniture treatments.
The tour is limited to 15 persons. Please register if you plan to attend and, if your plans change, let Tim Holliner know at tmholiner@gmail.com. Directions and parking info will be sent after registration.
