The Peabody Museum is opening an exhibit, In Plain Sight, on the furniture of Nathaniel Gould's 3,000 18th century pieces on Saturday, November 15, 2014, and running to March 1, 2015. Little known until recently, he is now considered one of the most important 18th century cabinetmakers. There are several events associated with the opening including a talk by Peter Korn of the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship in Rockport, Maine and informal carving demonstrations by Phil Lowe.
