I am working on a period piece, Jeffersonian book boxes that where used for the first bookshelves at the Library of Congress. I have started making the base Plinth and the originals where finished oft with an Ovolo Moulding. I have been on Google and You tube to learn what this moulding profile is. My question is; has anyone had experience with making this profile, either by hand or router and be willing to share your experience and help in making.

    Thanks,

    Jim Allen

I'm not terribly familiar with your piece so not sure what specific questions you have.  I've used a router/shaper bits as well as scratch stocks.
