We're considering replacing our old 1632 drum sander with a Powermax.  Does anyone have any experience with this machine?  It has a couple of nice featrues not found on other sanders.

Used a 1938 super max at my old shop a lot. Good machine,  it's much more rigid that the old performax. My only minor knitpick is changing paper is a pain. My hands are pretty big so I use a pair of needle nose pliers to get better  leverage to pull it tight.

A 1938 machine?  Changing the paper doesn't look and different than for the circa 2008 Performax we have, but it is a nuisance.
